Smoked ham with mashed potatoes

With this course, success is guaranteed: smoked ham cooked in water with mashed potatoes, chives and fried apples in a pan. try also this chutney of aubergines recipe too.

Ingredients

1.5 kg of floury potatoes

salt

1 bunch of chives

600 g of Quick ham or spalletta

pepper

2 sour apples

2 tablespoons of butter

How to proceed

Preparation: approx. 60 minutes

Cut the potatoes into large pieces. Boil them in salted water for approx. 20 minutes. Chop the chives.

Meanwhile, cook the ham below boiling point in plenty of water for approx. 30 minutes.

Drain the water from the potatoes. Crush them. Season with salt and pepper. Cut the apples into wedges. Heat the butter and fry the apples for approx. 2 minutes. Slice the ham and serve with the mashed potatoes. Garnish with chives and apples.
