Beef rolls

Stewed beef rolls take a long time to cook. But good things, you know, take time. Served with mashed potatoes, they will satisfy the long wait. try also this strawberry cheesecake slice recipe too.

Ingredients

Main course For 4 people

1 bunch of parsley

200 g of veal mixture

3 carrots

2 pickled cucumbers

8 slices of beef for stewing approx. 80 g each

8 slices of cooked shoulder

1 onion

salt

pepper

2 tablespoons of rapeseed oil

1 dl of red wine

3 dl of tied roast sauce

2 bay leaves

How to proceed

Preparation:

35-40 minutes

Chop the parsley and mix it with the veal mixture. Cut the carrots into cubes and add approx. 1/3 to the veal mixture. Divide the cucumbers in four.

Ask the butcher to beat the meat. Arrange the slices on the work surface. Distribute the slices of cooked ham, then spread the veal mixture. Distribute the pieces of cucumber and roll up tightly. Secure the rolls with toothpicks. Chop the onion.

Season the rolls with salt and pepper. Brown them in a pan in hot oil. Remove them and in the same pan, in the cooking juices of the meat, sauté the remaining carrots and onion. Add the red wine and the roast sauce. Put the rolls and bay leaves in a pan. Cover and simmer over low heat for 35-40 minutes. Season with salt and sprinkle with chopped parsley to taste.
